Yes, I have been quiet and slow to post on this forum, but I have been busy, I promise. I’ve an new art installation up at the Small Gallery in Dallas. It will be on site ’til mid September. Here’s a peek at my installation.
Additionally, have two completed quilts and two quilt tops finished. First up is one I made as a donation quilt for an organization called Quilts of Compassion. Their focus is to bring a quilt to every person devastated by tornados. I do strongly believe that it is important to give back to the world we live in, so I choose to do it this way. The quilt I made is my own design. It is really a modified Storm at Sea pattern.
As you can see, it’s a very simple pattern that works up dramatically.
Next completed is a Memory Quilt for a friend. This is another lap size.
I think this is enough show and tell for today. The other two tops can wait for quilting. I’m waiting on cooler weather to do that.
So for now, adios! Keep on making, and keep some art in your heart.
